In the broken health insurance system we have in the US, it is impossible to know what your out of pocket costs will be for medical care since every insurance has different rates and every patient has their unique plan and out of pocket costs. Many patients have very high deductibles and some patients have made the tough decision not to have health insurance at all due to the overwhelming costs. At APNC, we believe that healthcare should be affordable and the costs should be predictable, which is why we have transparent pricing for those who would elect to pay us for our services directly rather than using insurance. We are big believers in using health sharing plans and self funding for routine medical care, and encourage all of our patients to really look into their health insurance costs/deductibles to determine if they are using their healthcare dollars efficiently.
We are happy to partner with employers who are looking for alternative solutions aside from hospital based care or those who have self funded health insurance or workers’ compensation plans. We can offer same day or next day appointments in most situations and even leave one emergency time slot open daily at 1pm. We also accept all workers’ compensation plans.
Patients who have Medicare Advantage plans that we do not contract with will be charged traditional Medicare rates by law. The Medicare Physician Fee Schedule can be found online for reference.
